When will registrations for the conference open?
Registrations are scheduled to open in September 2023. Please keep an eye on the website or look out for communications from NZPF/APPA advising when registrations do open.
Can I book accommodation for the conference?
Yes, accommodation can be booked at a range of hotels during the registration process. Please visit the accommodation page for more information on the available hotels.
Car Rental
Avis Rent a Car is offering its corporate rates to Meeting delegates. Please call the Avis Office Christchurch www.avis.co.nz/en/locations/nz/christchurch

Climate
The average minimum temperature (usually during the night) in Christchurch in September is 3°C, with an average maximum temperature of 15°C. Visitors traveling to Christchurch should bring a waterproof rain jacket and plan on layering clothes. Some days can be nice and warm however it can also be a bit chilly.

Dress
The dress for all Conference sessions and social functions is smart casual.
Name Badges
Name badges will be given to all delegates on registration. We ask that you always wear your badge, including social functions.
Public Transport in Christchurch
Getting around Christchurch is easy, and most facilities are within walking or cycling distance of the central city.
Buses
Christchurch’s Metro service is runs bus routes around the city. More information can be found here
Christchurch Airport
Christchurch Airport has direct flights to and from key Australian cities as well as Auckland, Wellington and other NZ centres.
The airport is located approximately 10 minutes' drive from Christchurch city centre. All major rental car agencies have service desks located at Christchurch Airport and the airport is serviced by shuttles, taxis and bus services.
Taxis
A taxi fare from the airport to the central business district by car is around $40.00 (2023 pricing).
